Latest on Tokyo TowerThe Tokyo Tower City Light Fantasia event first started in 2014 in collaboration with digital art collective NAKED, and it takes on new themes with each passing season. For spring 2023 the theme is "Spring Concerto", and projection mapping displays of plants and animals will be set against the backdrop of the Tokyo skyline.
The end of the projection mapping display sees cherry blossoms in full bloom, providing a fun way to enjoy one of Japan's spring highlights in digital form.
The event can be enjoyed with any ticket purchase to the main observation deck, which is priced at 1200 JPY for adults.
Getting there
Tokyo Tower is located approximately five minutes on foot from Akabanebashi Station, which is served by the Toei Oedo Line.
For those who opt to drive, the venue is around 7 minutes from the Shiba-Koen exit of the Shuto Expressway. Parking is available adjacent to the tower and is charged at 600 JPY for the first hour and then 300 JPY for every 30 minutes thereafter.
