If you're doing a little Christmas shopping at Mitsukoshi Ginza, be sure to head up to the Terrace Garden on the 9th floor. There will be an illumination event held there from November 9th until February 15th, with calming lights decorating the lawn area and the trees surrounding the area.
Along with the lights, there will be a fun augmented reality (AR) experience where Santa flies around the terrace on an airplane — visitors need to scan a 2D barcode at the venue to enjoy this on their smartphones.
The illuminations run from 4:00 pm to 11:15 pm daily throughout the event.
Getting there
