The park is a vast green space that is nestled in a vibrant residential area, tucked away from the crowds of metropolitan Tokyo. It was once an airfield but is now home to a bird sanctuary, a day camp and barbecue area, a softball field, and a grove of gingko and sakura trees. Stroll down the park grounds one afternoon and you'll find yourself refreshed and rejuvenated.
