“So you have an idea. A stupid Idea, but you like it,” said architect Frank Gehry in a video loop at the 21_21 Design Sight in Tokyo Midtown in Roppongi.

Gehry is a Canadian-born architecture whose unconventional techniques have led to buildings all over the world. The common point: the buildings' designs are full of movement.
According to 21_21’s website, “Frank Gehry has spent over half a century upending architectural norms and defying expectations. His works span from the stunning Guggenheim Museum Bilbao to attention-getting Fondation Louis Vuitton, which opened last year."
The exhibition runs until Feb. 7, so head to 21_21 Design Sight to discover the designs of this outspoken architecture. Closed Tuesdays, the exhibit is open daily from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. General admission is ¥1,100.
