A retrospective of Belgian artist Rene Magritte is currently on exhibition at the National Art Center, Tokyo.

Held from Mar 25th to June 29th, this exhibition is one of the most comprehensive Magritte exhibitions yet, with 130 pieces collected from museums and private collections in more than 10 countries.

As one of the frontrunners of the surrealism art movement, Magritte's signature style had a massive influence over 20th century art and design, and even up to now, evidently in a recently collaboration with global retail chain Opening Ceremony, which saw a line of clothing paired with Magritte's signature.
