From November 20th until Christmas Day, Kitte Marunouchi is hosting a seasonal event titled "White Kitte", and it pairs illuminations with traditional Japanese crafts to create a stunning visual scene. Hundreds of washi paper shapes will be hung from the ceiling to emulate snow falling from the sky, and they will be illuminated from 12pm until 10pm daily.
There will also be an interactive stage set up which has been designed to sound like you're tramping through real snow when you walk on it, and themed photo spots that are perfect for taking a fun photo or several.
Getting there
Kitte Marunouchi is directly connected via underground passage to Tokyo Station's Marunouchi Line, or just a minute on foot from various other lines including the JR Yamanote Line.
For those who opt to drive, paid on-site parking is available. It's charged at a rate of ¥ 400 every 30 minutes for the first 3.5 hours.
