Hoshino Resorts will be opening a new location at "Hoshinoya Fuji" on October 30th, 2015. Built against the backdrop of nature surrounding Mount Fuji and Lake Kawaguchi-ko, Hoshinoya Fuji will bring the concept of "glamping on a hill" to life.

Hoshino Resorts aims to bring the recent trend of glamping (or glamorous camping) to Japan through its new Hoshinoya Fuji resort. Forty guest rooms, or cabins, will be available alongside forest terraces. Restaurants and cafes will also be available for guests to augment their luxury, or glamourous, camping experience.

Overview

  • Location: 1408, Oishi, Fujikawaguchikomachi, Minami-Tsuru-gun, Yamanashi-ken
  • Area: Approximately 6 hectare
  • Number of Guest Rooms: 40 rooms (44-53sq m)

Cloud Terrace

A number of pinewood terraces will be created in a woodland grove setting, providing the opportunity for guests to enjoy a campfire, library cafe, outdoor meetings or practice yoga. Glamp in actual cabins which will line the hill surrounded by a grove of red pine trees.

Glamping Foods

Grill dining will be made available at a restaurant surrounded by red pines between the cabins and cloud terrace, but why not try Dutch oven cooking, in-room dining or try breakfast outside each cabin on the terrace.
