Running for over 10 years now, the Belgian Beer Weekend is actually an 11 day-long affair showcasing almost 100 different types of Belgian beer. The country's beer history is so rich that it was registered as a UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage in 2016, and this event gives attendees a chance to experience a window into it right here in Japan.
Along with the impressive variety of beers on offer, there will also be foods that pair well with the brews such as roast chicken and fries – or if you're craving something sweet, why not treat yourself to a Belgian waffle?
Tickets for the event can be purchased via Family Mart stores, with instructions outlined on the official website.
Getting there
The event takes place at Hisaya Odori Park's Edion Hisaya Plaza and Angel Plaza. The venue is directly connected to Yabachō Station, which is served by the Nagoya Municipal Subway's Meijō Line.
