Quiet, quaint and no free wifi to be found, that's how we roll in the Japanese country side. A starkly different place from the futuristic image tourists have of Tokyo. I often take a stroll in the countryside of Sosa City, Chiba, east of Tokyo.

The buildings are more spread out than in the city. Between them are wild flowers, rice fields, small shrines or temples and open spaces that accent the bright array of color set off by the sunset.
