Fukuoka's ultra-scenic Uminonakamichi Seaside Park is a gorgeous spot to visit during spring when fields of flowers like nemophila (baby blue eyes), Icelandic poppies, and tulips bloom. During this period the venue hosts their Flower Picnic event, where visitors can appreciate all of the seasonal color and pleasant weather.
For those stopping by the park in early April, a real visual treat is the combination of nemophila and cherry blossoms–the horizon is fully blanketed by flowers, creating a dreamlike scene.
Admission to the park is priced at 450 JPY for adults, which is counted as anyone 15 years of age and older. Admission is free for those aged 14 and under.
