Has your child ever wondered what it’d be like if they gathered all the toys they ever wanted into the same room? Then Kingdom of Toys, a theme park located near Hotel Green Plaza Karuizawa, will satisfy this fantasy with many indoor playrooms chockfull of Barbie, trains, Lego, race car toys, and crafty activities such as making your own iron-on print and iron-on beads. Only a short stroll away from Hotel Green Plaza Karuizawa, Kingdom of Toys also makes a good day time activity if you decide to stay at the hotel.

Indeed, you’ll know you’re in for a fun day when you can spend quality time with your kid at the Go Kart, rent fishing rods to catch fish in the nearby stream, and ride the horses. And there are many things the kids can do like conquer the forest obstacle course, soar on the flying foxes, and venture around the outdoor forest playground. Parents can also partner with their kids to ride the Monorail bike ride, seek the thrill of the Dragon Coaster, spin round and round on the teacup rides, and chug along the Thomas the Tank engine ride. Kingdom of Toys also boasts a colorful Ferris wheel that floats you into the sky to see Hotel Green Plaza Karuizawa hidden inside a world of trees; and where your eyes can grasp the majestic Mt. Asama, one of “The 100 Fabulous Mountains of Japan”. Particularly during mid-December, the vast forest transforming into a vibrant red sea is a unique sight to behold. Kingdom of Toys also features plenty of performances, the most famous and popular is their Power Rangers show. Here, you can immerse yourself in the unforgettable world of Power Rangers, and help Power Ranger Red, Blue, Pink, Green and Black defeat the vile villain.

Bright, and bursting with color, Kingdom of Toys will certainly not disappoint with its mountains of different toys and all the possible activities you and your child can do there. Parents and grandparents alike can safely spend time with the kids, ranging from babies to 10 year olds. And at the end of the day when everyone is feeling tired of all the rides, there is a large souvenir store filled with toys to make your child burst with joy.

In short, Kingdom of Toys pulls out all stops to capture childhood dreams through sharing their miniature empires of Barbie, Lego men and toy soldiers with all children. The entrance fee is 1,000 yen for adults and 800 yen for children. To enter and have a free pass to all rides and activities costs 2,800 yen per adult and 2,600 yen per child. If you are staying at Hotel Green Plaza Karuizawa, it is also possible to receive a discount. So if you’re in the area, please stop by and enjoy yourself at Kingdom of Toys.
