Located at the foot of Mount Rokko, the Kobe Municipal Arboretum boasts tall, handsome conifer trees. The 142.6 hectare botanical garden and arboretum was founded in 1940 under the concept of 'providing views of seasonal deciduous trees and flowers'. The main attractions of this garden are elegant hydrangeas in rainy season, and gorgeous colored leaves in autumn. This photo story features the beautiful autumn foliage surrounding Hase Pond which I captured on my visit around November 20th, 2011.
