<p>The entrance to the Kobe Mosaic Mall. The mall has many shopping outlets on the second floor of the mall, while the third floor has mostly restaurants. </p>

<p>Halloween festival in autumn, lit-up pumpkins. The mall is also a popular dating spot in Kobe where many couples can be seen on the decks. The restaurants on the third floor have seating great views.</p>

<p>Do not mistake the illumination for Christmas time celebrations. The light-up is an all year round event on the road leading to the Mosaic Mall. </p>

<p>Former Prime Minister Junichiro Koizumi unveiled the Elvis Presley statue in 2009 at Harborland just outside the entrance of Mosaic. The statue used to be at the Love Me Tender store in Tokyo’s Harajuku from 1987, but was removed after the closure of the store in 2008.</p>

Kobe Mosaic is a popular shopping mall with beautiful scenic views of the city of Kobe. Set on the port side with panoramic views of the Port Tower of Kobe it houses many ethnic restaurants (Indian, Italian, French etc.). Mosaic is also the place from where boat rides to the Akashi and Kobe Airport area start. Located just a 10-minute walk away from JR Kobe Station, it also has an amusement park complete with a Ferris wheel and other joyrides for children.
