Each year in autumn, the Kobe Sports Park is home to a cosmos festival that typically runs throughout the month of October. The cosmos hill at the park spans an impressive space of 4,000 square meters, and from the top of the hill you're able to see out to the Akashi Kaikyo Bridge that links Honshu to Awaji Island.
Along with the beautiful blooms and views to appreciate, the event also has stage performances and a range of food trucks to grab a bite to eat at.
The Kobe Sports Park is located right by the Sogoundo Koen Station, served by the Kobe Municipal Subway's Seishin Yamate Line.
For those who plan to drive to the venue, it is around a 5 minute drive from the Shirakawa Minami Interchange on the Hanshin Expressway. On-site parking is available for approximately 1600 vehicles, at a set fee of 500 yen per day.
