Flowers have been a source of artistic inspiration since ancient times, and a special exhibition taking place at the Kagoshima City Museum of Art looks into a variety of works depicting beautiful blooms. Getting there
The Kagoshima City Museum of Art is located around a 10 minute taxi ride from Kagoshima Station, served by the Kagoshima Main Line. Buses are also available from the station to the museum area - take the Kagoshima City View Bus until you reach the stop for the Saigo Takamori Statue, and from there the museum is just a minute away on foot.
For those who plan to drive, there is a small on-site parking lot just for art museum patrons, and an additional lot shared with other nearby museums.
