This park combines flowers, grass, and the sea

This trellis is covered with crawlers in the autumn

There are quite a few interesting statues in the park, each with its own special story

From the benches to the left is Osanbashi Pier and Minato-mirai

Osanbashi Pier welcomes some spectacular ships throughout the year

And from the benches to the right is the Hikawa-maru ocean liner

But quiet enough for artists and others to enjoy private contemplation

There are six pleasant parks alongside Yokohama Bay. Yamashita Park is the most popular park among them. Locals always come here to refresh themselves, and tourists can’t resist it either. I also like coming here to snap shots of kids playing and running around in the park’s wide open fields, dogs and their owners strolling in and out among the flower beds, and lovers doing what lovers do throughout the world! The Minato-mirai area, Aka-renga Park, Osanbashi Pier, Hikawa-maru ocean liner, and Marine Tower can all be seen from this park. An index of this series is here.
