Yokohama: Tulips in a Gentle Breeze

Yokohama Park and Yokohama Stadium in Mid-April

At Yokohama Park, more than 160,000 tulips are blooming in mid April. Here, colorful tulips nod and sway in a gentle breeze. Along with the common red, yellow, and white tulips, there are some unusual types of tulips: purple, pale green, sharp-edged, and fully opened.

Yokohama Park (just outside Yokohama Stadium) is located in a business district, just a 5-minute-walk from JR Kannai Station, and next to Yokohama City Office. At noon, people were enjoying the tulips while eating their lunch.
