This autumn, Kamakura's historic Kenchoji Temple will host ZEN NIGHT WALK KAMAKURA, a nighttime event blending Zen tradition with cutting-edge sound and light art. Running from October 28th to December 7th, the experience invites visitors to stroll through illuminated temple grounds while immersed in "neuro music," which is designed to calm the brain and enhance mindfulness.

Following the success of last year's Kyoto edition which drew over 30,000 guests, this Kamakura debut offers a fresh take on the theme "Autumn Leaves: Autumn Wind." Visitors can explore six unique installations, from wind chimes at the Sanmon Gate to a sound meditation in the Hojo where real-time brainwaves are transformed into visuals and audio. Other highlights include the illuminated Karamon Gate, a sea of clouds in the Hojo Garden, and a digital artwork by Keio University professor Akira Wakita displayed alongside Kenchoji's famous Cloud Dragon ceiling painting.
