<p>The sound of the bell echoing in the tunnel of autumn leaves</p>

<p>Rare yellow maple leaves! They look so refreshing among red and vermilion leaves.</p>

<p>Morning sun beginning to shine over the belfry</p>

<p>Looking down at the temple grounds from halfway up the hill. The space between buildings was filled with splendid maple leaves.</p>

<p>I wonder how many visitors have fallen in love with this cute jizo statue! He so soothed my mind that I almost wanted to talk to him and say hello!</p>

Latest on Enkoji

On the 22nd of November in 2014, I visited Enkoji Temple in Rakuhoku area of Kyoto to participate in 'Autumn Leaves at Dawn: Special Viewing'.

I wanted to see the splendid Garden of Jyu-gyu (ten oxen) from the Hojo building, but there was a lot more to see here. I took some time to stroll around this beautiful garden and enjoy some blissful moments.

I imagined the clear sound from the beautiful belfry sounding in the splendid garden, as the smiling faces of adorable jizo statues soothed and relaxed the minds of visitors.
