Nara - The UNESCO world heritage city of Japan is a must visit for people holidaying in Japan. Its rich culture and history can be witnessed in its Buddhist temples and Shinto Shrines. Some of the important ones to visit include Todaiji Temple, Kofukuji, Kasuga Taisha Shrine, Yakushi-ji, Horyu-Ji temple and Nara Park.

The best ways to explore the charming streets of the city are either by walking or cycling. Nara can be reached from Kyoto in 90 mins or from Osaka in 50 mins using JR or Kintetsu lines. Be inspired to visit Nara when you are in Japan.
