Venue : Ama Site Park, Osaka When : Dec 1st - Jan 31st 2024, 5:00pm - 9:00pm

The Ama Site Park in Osaka's Takatsuki City was designated as a National Historic Site in 1993 thanks to the Yayoi period archeological discoveries found there. Along with the park being fascinating from a cultural standpoint, it's extra-beautiful at the moment thanks to some seasonal illuminations lighting up the grounds.

Approximately 70,000 LED lights are illuminating the trees along the 220-meter path stretching from the main entrance to the center of the park. In addition, a large Christmas tree standing 365 centimeters high will be on display until December 25th.

Admission is free of charge.

Getting there

The Ama Site Park is located approximately 10 minutes on foot from Takatsuki City Station on the Hankyu Kyoto Line, or around 13 minutes on foot from Takatsuki Station on the JR Kyoto Line.

For those who opt to drive, the park is just under 10 minutes from the Takatsuki IC on the Meishin Expressway/Shin-Meishin Expressway.
