Oysters are a popular food due to their distinct briny flavor and versatility, along with their aphrodisiac reputation and nutritional value. Whether consumed raw on the half shell, grilled, or as an ingredient in various dishes, oysters attract food enthusiasts from far and wide – and one place they can be enjoyed is at the Sennan Oyster Festival in Osaka.
The event will run on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays from January 20th until March 17th 2024, and is set to include free samples of oyster soup (limited quantities from 10am each day), oyster tastings from different production areas, and other gourmet oyster dishes available for purchase. In addition, there will be a fun lottery event where attendees can be in the running to win local seafood and other products.

Sennan Long Park can be accessed in around 13 minutes on foot from Tarui Station, which is served by the Nankai Main Line.
