<p>This glass-encased doll exudes the same grace and elegance that only a woman donning a kimono can. </p>

<p>This majestic multi-tiered doll display can be found at the entrance of the Main House. </p>

<p>Each of the pieces in the hanging display symbolizes something auspicious such as fertility, good health, good fortune, etc. </p>

<p>This doll set looks more understated than the other sets on display and it dates back to a hundred years ago. </p>

<p>Some of the doll sets are particularly ornate. </p>

<p>The Hinamatsuri display at the Koma Old Town house runs from February 18 to March 8, 2015.</p>

From February 18 to March 8, 2015, the Koma Old Town House is hosting a Hinamatsuri exhibit. Various dolls are on display--from the familiar single glass-encased ones, to the multi-tiered doll sets. There are dolls from various periods, including the more modern hanging mobiles with auspicious symbols. Admission is free. The nearest station is Koma Station and the Koma Old Town House is a short 15 minute walk from the station.
