In the Moomin Valley series, the Moomin family love to drink coffee, no matter where their adventures take them. If you are a Moomin fan and love coffee, this festival is tailored just for you. Over 18 different coffee specialists will get together at the picturesque Metsa Village and beside it, the Moomin Valley Park. Merchants including cafes from Hanno City, Hidaka City and Northern Europe inspired cafes will gather for this special coffee event. If you, like most people, would like to taste coffee from the various merchants, the best deal would be to get the special ¥1000 tasting ticket (limited tickets available on event day), which entitles you to four tasting cups (note that these are smaller than a regular serving) of your choice. Regular cups of coffee are also available.
Getting there
Easy access by bus from Hanno or Higashi Hanno stations along the Seibu Ikebukuro & Seibu Chichibu Lines. If driving, note that you must make an online reservation and parking fees are quite expensive.
