A Unique Frozen Stay in Tokyo

A limited-time event at Hotel Intercontinental Tokyo Bay

As winter descends on Tokyo, the Hotel Intercontinental Tokyo Bay has created a limited-time themed room inspired by the Disney movie Frozen. The Frozen Magic Room is decked out in shades of icy blue, silver, and white, and there is even a cloak and tiara supplied so you can dress up just like Elsa for some perfect Instagram shots.

The event includes two different ways to stay. There's the day plan where you can use the room for up to 4 hours from 11: 00 - 15: 00 or 17: 00 - 21: 00 and enjoy a strawberry and pistachio themed high tea while you're there (prices vary from ¥22,770 to ¥34,788 depending on the date of your stay and guest numbers), or the overnight stay (priced at ¥35,000 for two people) which also includes afternoon tea on the day of your check in and a bottle of sparkling wine.

Either way, guests are bound to have a memorable visit, but those who opt for the overnight stay get to savor some beautiful views of the city's lights after dark - combined with the room's décor it creates an ultra-magical scene.

The Frozen themed room is open for bookings from December 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022, and reservations can be made on the Hotel Intercontinental Tokyo Bay website here.

The Intercontinental Hotel Tokyo Bay is located just two minutes on foot from Takeshiba Station on the Yurikamome Line, or around 10 minutes on foot from Hamamatsucho Station served by the Keihin-Tōhoku Line, the Yamanote Line, and the Tokyo Monorail Haneda Airport Line.

For those who opt to drive, paid parking is available on-site. It's charged at a rate of ¥ 600 per hour, up to a maximum fee of ¥ 3,960 per day.
