One of the most iconic children's books of all time is "The Very Hungry Caterpillar" by Eric Carle. Carle wrote and illustrated the book which was first published back in 1969, and it has been translated into various languages and loved across the globe since then. Tachikawa's Play! Museum is hosting an exhibition titled "Eric Carle: Book to Play", where visitors can connect with Carle's works through fun activities.
The on-site cafe also has a range of themed eats and drinks on offer, including a "Very Hungry Caterpillar" chocolate gateaux cake, fruit parfait, and pizza toast.
