Hikarigaoka park is a former airfield and military housing complex. A sprawling picturesque park in the residential area of Nerima ward, it is renowned for its seasonal scenery, particularly, its gingko tree avenue for their golden yellow leaves every November.

Also, annually in November they have the JA Tokyo Green Leaves Agriculture Festival. More than just a market, they have live performances with shows and entertainment. There is a also huge "treasure ship" display made from fruit and vegetables. The festival is held in the "Keyaki Hiroba" Open Space from 10 am to 4 pm.

The park is located in Tokyo, but right on the border of Wako City in Saitama. You can use the Tobu Tojo Line's Narimasu station, Oedo Line's Hikarigaoka Station or Fukutoshin line's Chikatetsu Narimasu station to get to the park. Each station is about a 15 minute walk away from the park.

By car

Close to the Nerima exit of the Kanetsu expressway, there is pay parking beside the park's gymnasium. It costs 2,200 yen for the day.
