Lego is extremely popular worldwide and has a timeless appeal, encouraging creativity, imagination, and problem-solving in both children and adults. There are numerous ways to embrace all things Lego here in Japan, from visiting Legoland Discovery Centers in Tokyo and Osaka, checking out Legoland in Nagoya, or simply shopping up a storm at a Lego store.
This summer, there's an additional way you can embrace your Lego love, and that's at the Lego Festival in Marunouchi. Running from Monday, August 7th until Sunday, August 27th, the event will include a Lego minifigure rally, Lego building areas, a 2 meter by 2 meter Lego Minecraft diorama on display, and even a beautiful photo area made up of Lego flowers from their Botanicals collection.
Getting there
The event takes place at several locations, including Marucube on the 1st floor of the Marunouchi Building, and the atrium on the 3rd floor of the Shin-Marunouchi Building. The venues are located directly outside of Tokyo Station.
