The art of bathing is intertwined in the fabric of Japanese culture - you only have to look at the popularity and appeal of onsen in the land of the rising sun to know that folks here appreciate a good long soak. It makes sense then, that UK based bath product purveyors Lush opened their Lush Labs concept store right in the heart of Harajuku.
This store focuses solely on bath bombs, with an array of over 80 available for purchase. There are also a host of limited edition bath bombs that aren't for sale at other Lush stores globally, giving extra impetus to snap up several of them.
If you do plan on paying the store a visit, download the Lush Labs app before you swing by. It allows you to "scan" the bath bombs on display by taking a photo of them, and provides information on ingredient lists and more.
Getting there
The Lush Labs concept store is only a couple of minutes on foot from Meijijingumae (Harajuku) Station, serviced by the Chiyoda and Fukutoshin Tokyo Metro lines.
