Located in the southern part of Tokyo, Machida City can be accessed in just over 30 minutes by train from Shinjuku Station. This part of the prefecture is home to some great green spaces, and this is highlighted by the Machida Sakura Festival held during spring. The multi-venue event will be held along the banks of the Onda River, at Ridge Green Road, and at Serigaya Park, with no shortage of blooms for attendees to enjoy.
Getting there
The Onda River portion of the event takes place behind the Machida City Gymnasium, which is under 10 minutes from Naruse Station (JR Yokohama Line).
Ridge Green Road is a short walk from Tamasakai Station (Keio Sagamihara Line).
Serigaya Park is located a 5 minute drive or 10 minutes on foot from Machida Station (JR Yokohama Line & Odakyu Odawara Line).
