<p>The crowds begin to get larger along Keyazaki Street </p>

<p>Even from a distance it's impossible not to miss this colorful spectacle</p>

<p>Lining Roppongi's main boulevard this display makes an ideal addition to the cold winter evenings</p>

<p>Although a popular event there were surprisingly less people than expected providing a somewhat relaxing experience </p>

<p>The colors transform from silvery blue to ambient red every several minutes</p>

<p>On the opposite side of this bridge amongst the bright silvery colors Tokyo Tower can be seen in the distance</p>

<p>This colorful display continues within the'Mori' Garden and Plaza 66 </p>

<p>A deep ambient red provides my last view of the evening; an impressive end to a colorful night!  </p>

However you plan spending Christmas this year make sure you drop by for the annual Roppongi Hills Winter Illumination. Officially called 'Artelligent Christmas', this impressive display started over 11 years ago, running from the 4^th November to 25^th December.

Featuring thousands of colorful LEDs, you can witness the spectacle of Roppongi's long boulevard being turned into a beautiful sea of bright silvery blue and moody red.

With an abundance of stylish cafes and wide open spaces, this event can be enjoyed from afar or close up, providing the perfect atmosphere for anyone wanting to feel some Christmas vibe
