From August 28th (Saturday) until September 17th (Friday), the Ginza Tsutaya store will be hosting an exhibition of works from Aichi-born artist Ryunosuke Goji (1988 - ). Goji graduated from the Tokyo University of the Arts in 2013 with a specialization in oil paintings, and his works center around the theme of tropical plants such as monstera. The title of this exhibition is "overlay", given that the plant leaves depicted in his art are overlapped and multi-layered.
A number of Goji's artworks will also be available for purchase at the store starting from 1pm on the first day of the event.
Admission to the exhibition is free of charge.
Getting there
The Ginza Tsutaya store can be accessed within five minutes on foot from Ginza Station (served by the Tokyo Metro's Ginza, Hanzomon, and Marunouchi lines), or around the same distance from Higashi Ginza Station (served by the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line and the Toei Asakusa Line).
