Also known as Central Park, Shinjuku Chuo Park has much to lend visitors. Feel free to enjoy a quiet stroll under the canopy of tall trees, or the soak in the beauty of the sculptures placed about, including the Peace Carillion, which is a set of 12 hanging bells. Just a step away from the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building, the park also contains a Kumano-Jinja shrine should you feel the yearning to become spiritually enlightened.

Getting there

A short walk from Tocho-mae Station on the Toei Oedo Line and 5 minutes walk from Nishi-Shinjuku Station on the Tokyo Metro Marunouchi Line.
