Back this year with even more great content, TOKYO SYUKAKUSAI 2024 is a festival where you can enjoy sightseeing and various local foods as if you were touring around Tokyo.
This festival is held at the Tokyo International Forum near Tokyo and Yurakucho station and is organized by the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and the Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau.
Local cuisine and sake will be available at the booths and food trucks, as well as specialty products and souvenirs available for purchase. A special collaboration with the Tourism Associations and Orange Page will feature original “TOKYO Onigiri” rice balls made with local ingredients, which you can get by collecting stamps around the venue.
You can embark on simulated travel using VR to sightseeing spots in the 23 Wards, Tama area, and Tokyo Islands.
The festival will have free family-friendly workshops where you can have hands-on experience making local Tokyo-based crafts. Make sure to get there early to reserve a spot!
This year, you can also try ashiyu foot baths from different regions in Tokyo.
At TOKYO SYUKAKUSAI 2024, you can experience the dynamism of Tokyo with travel and cuisine all in one spot!
