Under the theme of "Japanese tea, new discoveries," the Tokyo Tea Fair at Nihonbashi's Menshō Kaikan exhibition venue aims to showcase the diverse appeal of this popular beverage. The event will include tasting and product sales booths where attendees can compare and contrast different tea types, various workshop booths to learn more about tea, and even a booth where tea fans can connect over their shared interest.

Tea purveyors from Kagoshima, Nagasaki, Fukuoka, Kochi, Kyoto, Shizuoka, and Saitama will be represented at the event, and various tea types will be on offer as well – sencha, hojicha, and gyokuro to name a few.
Tasting tickets can be purchased for ¥1000 in advance or ¥1300 on the day, and the price includes 5 tea tastings. The experience booths range from ¥1500 to ¥2800 depending on which you choose. Tickets for both the tastings and the experiences can be arranged online here.
Getting there
The Menshō Kaikan exhibition venue can be accessed in around 6 minutes on foot from Ningyocho Station's A4 exit (Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line / Toei Asakusa Line).
