The Tour de France is one of the world's most famous sporting events, and this year's race runs from 26th June to 18th July. Coinciding with those dates, a pop-up Tour de France cafe event will be taking place at Shibuya Stream, with various foods and merchandise on offer.
Many of the meals take on a French theme, and include the likes of Croque monsieur sandwiches (1450 yen including tax), seafood bouillabaisse (1600 yen including tax), and Paris-Brest pastries (990 yen including tax).
As for the merchandise, there are apparel items, mugs and coasters, Tour de France sweets, and more. For those who aren't nearby, merchandise can also be purchased online here.
Getting there
The event takes place at Torque Cafe within the Shibuya Stream complex. It can be accessed within around three minutes on foot from Shibuya Station, which is served by various lines including the JR Yamanote Line and the Tokyo Metro Ginza, Hanzomon, and Fukutoshin lines.
