If you're looking for an easy to access illumination event, Twinkle Night at Shinjuku Central Park is a great option to check out. Running from late November until mid-January, the event will include light-ups at two main areas of the venue – Water Square and View Forest.
Part of the illumination event is interactive, too – a QR code will be posted on-site, allowing attendees to choose from eight different colors to personalize their after-dark experience.
There will also be a photo spot set up that perfectly frames the Shinjuku night sky as a backdrop.
This is a free event, so be sure to stop by if you're in the area!
Getting there
Shinjuku Central Park is located just two minutes on foot from Tochomae Station, which is served by the Toei Ōedo Line.
Alternatively, the venue is just under 10 minutes on foot from Shinjuku Station, which has JR, Keio, Odakyu, Tokyo Metro, and Toei Subway lines operating through it.
