Venue : Komorebi Mori no Ibaraide When : Saturday - Feb 17th 2024

The Spartan Race concept has become something of a global phenomenon in recent years, and it transcends the boundaries of your typical athletic races. Rooted in Spartan military values, these races push the mental and physical limits of participants through a variety of obstacle-laden courses. Whether it's a mud crawl or a rope climb, the format presents challenges that demand strength, resilience, and endurance.

For Japan-based Spartan fans, Ibaraki Prefecture is hosting a race at the Komorebi Mori no Ibaraide recreational park. Along with the 5km competitive sprint event featuring 20 obstacles, there will also be a child-friendly version suitable for those aged from 4 to 14 years of age. Please note that to take part in the 5km competitive sprint event, you must be 14 years or older.
