Venue : Belluna Dome When : Mid Jul 2160 - Mid Jul 0338

Baseball holds a deep-rooted passion in Japan, and the sport is widely embraced from professional leagues right through to school tournaments. One professional team located close to Tokyo is the Seibu Lions, whose home field is the Belluna Dome in Saitama Prefecture.

This summer, a special event brings all the fun of a summer festival to the popular baseball venue, and it's simply called the Lions Summer Festival. The event is set to include fireworks displays, Bon Odori dancing featuring around 40 teams from across the country, and a variety of stalls selling food and drinks.

Please note that while admission to the Belluna Dome is free, there are charges for bleacher seats for the fireworks, plus any food or drink you purchase.

Getting there

Belluna Dome is located just a minute on foot from Seibukyujo-Mae Station, which is served by the Seibu Sayama Line and the Seibu Yamaguchi Line.

For those who opt to drive, the venue is around 10 kilometers from Iruma IC on the Ken-O Expressway, or around 12 kilometers from Tokorozawa IC on the Kan-etsu Expressway.
