Along with the springtime blossoms comes a host of fun seasonal eats and drinks, and for travelers heading to Tokyo in late winter and early spring, Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo is leaning fully into sakura season.

From February 18th, 2026, the Nakameguro landmark kicks off its cherry blossom celebrations under the theme Serendipity in SAKURA. Even before the real blossoms open along the Meguro River, visitors can enjoy an early taste of spring inside the Roastery through art, atmosphere, and limited-edition drinks. A highlight this year is the Meguro River's Smallest Cherry Blossom Viewing Exhibition, a series of intricate miniature artworks inspired by the river, the Roastery, and Tokyo's anticipation of sakura season. Scattered throughout the building, the tiny scenes reward slow wandering and photo stops on every floor.

Seasonal beverages are another major draw for inbound visitors looking for Japan-only flavors. New releases include a Sakura Barrel Aged Cold Brew with a gentle floral aroma, a layered peach and cherry blossom tea with sparkling notes, a hojicha latte infused with sakura and kinako (roasted soybean powder), and an elegant strawberry fizz cocktail available exclusively at the top-floor bar. Together, they offer a distinctly Japanese take on spring that goes far beyond the standard latte.

For travelers planning a sakura-focused itinerary, this limited-time experience is an easy and memorable stop that combines coffee culture, craftsmanship, and the excitement of spring's arrival in Tokyo.

Getting there

Starbucks Reserve Roastery Tokyo is located around 12 minutes on foot from Nakameguro Station, which is served by the Tokyu Tōyoko Line and the Tokyo Metro Hibiya Line.
