Kagurazaka used to have numerous geisha houses during the Edo period, some of which are still standing. Today Kagurazaka has a strong French influence, home to many French expats. French eateries are also commonly seen amidst sushi and ramen places. The eclectic neighborhood of Kagurazaka is interesting to explore and certainly offers endless dining options. A walk through Kagurazaka clearly shows the interesting combination of tradition and modernity.
