Fans of Attack on Titan have another reason to add Shinjuku to their Japan itinerary this autumn, as a limited-time pop up cafe opens at BOX cafe&space Lumine Est Shinjuku 2nd Store from September 3 to October 12, 2026.
Inspired by the "last supper" on the eve of a decisive battle, the cafe features newly drawn artwork from WIT STUDIO and a menu inspired by characters including Eren, Mikasa, Armin, Hange, Levi, and Erwin. It's a particularly fun option for international visitors looking to combine anime culture with Japan's themed cafe scene.
The food lineup includes three pita sandwiches, each priced at 1,990 JPY: Eren and Mikasa's spicy chicken pita with pickled radish, Armin and Hange's seafood and chicken pita with lemon sauce, and Levi and Erwin's bone-in sausage and chicken pita.
For something warmer, Eren's Mother's Stew is 790 JPY, while dessert options include the Wall Honey Danish at 1,890 JPY, Attack on Titan LUSH, a caramel and berry drink, for 1,590 JPY, and the Super-sized LUSH berry drink for 1,790 JPY.
Other soda-style drinks include the 990 JPY Survey Corps Drink, a 1,990 JPY bottled version, and Levi's Morning Routine for 690 JPY. Coffee, tea, cola, ginger ale, and orange drinks are also available for 690 JPY. If you're short on time, the three themed pita sandwiches can be purchased to take away for 990 JPY each.
Reservations are strongly recommended. Advance bookings cost 660 JPY per person (including a reservation benefit), and are available from August 20 at 6pm on the official cafe website, on a first-come, first-served basis. Each application can reserve up to four seats. Reservation guests who order from the menu receive a random Hunting Permit Style Trading Card, with six designs available.
There's also plenty of merchandise up for grabs, including acrylic stands, keychains, badges, clear files, stickers, postcards, and other Attack on Titan collectibles.
