Dior Bamboo Pavilion

Blending Parisian heritage with Japanese inspiration

Few names in the fashion world carry the global recognition of Dior. Known for its timeless elegance, craftsmanship, and enduring influence on style, the French maison continues to strengthen its long-standing relationship with Japan through a brand new destination in Tokyo: the Dior Bamboo Pavilion.

Opened on February 12th, 2026, the pavilion is an architectural statement that blends Parisian heritage with Japanese inspiration. Its design reimagines the façade of Dior's iconic 30 Montaigne boutique in bamboo form, drawing from the tranquil beauty of Japan's bamboo forests. Finished in a bold gold tone, the structure glows dramatically after dark, creating a luminous presence in the city.

Spanning more than 1,800 square meters, the pavilion was conceived as a serene space for exploration. Lush greenery fills the venue, reflecting founder Christian Dior's lifelong love of nature and gardens. Visitors can wander through different "universes" of the house, from men's and women's ready-to-wear collections to leather goods, shoes, accessories, and fine jewelry. A dedicated room showcasing Dior’s most iconic creations offers an especially exclusive glimpse into the brand's legacy.

The pavilion also highlights the dialogue between French and Japanese artistry. Signature Dior design elements, including star motifs and Versailles-style parquet flooring, appear alongside works by contemporary Japanese artists, showcasing craftsmanship that reflects the house's commitment to creativity and excellence.

Adding another layer to the experience is Café Dior, where celebrated chef Anne-Sophie Pic presents an exclusive menu celebrating French cuisine and the art of living. The café offers a place to pause within the immersive setting, completing the visit with a taste of French gastronomy.

Getting there

The Dior Bamboo Pavilion is located just seven minutes on foot from Daikanyama Station, which is served by the Tokyu Toyoko Line.
