Venue : Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum, Tokyo When : May 29th - Sep 7th 2025, 10:00am - 6:00pm

Art lovers, take note—Tokyo is set to host an exhibition starting this spring, featuring the works of two iconic painters: Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Paul Cézanne. Organized in collaboration with the Musée de l'Orangerie and the Musée d'Orsay, this world-traveling showcase arrives in Japan after stops in Milan, Martigny, and Hong Kong, with the Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum as its exclusive venue.

Bringing together approximately 50 masterpieces, including Renoir’s "Girls at the Piano" and Cézanne’s "Portrait of the Artist's Son," the exhibition explores how these two artists shaped the course of modern art. Alongside their portraits, still lifes, and landscapes, visitors will also discover works by Pablo Picasso, who drew inspiration from their pioneering styles.

Beyond the artwork, this exhibition highlights the artistic connection between Renoir and Cézanne, offering a rare chance to experience their evolving techniques and influence firsthand.

Please note that as yet, ticket prices for this exhibition have not been announced. We would recommend referring to the Mitsubishi Ichigokan Museum website as the start date nears for further updates.
