Tokyo will once again come alive with the energy and spirit of women runners. Shibuya - Omotesando Women’s Run, a signature running event that draws thousands of participants to the fashionable streets of the city, returns on Sunday, March 22.
Organized by the Shibuya - Omotesando Women’s Run Executive Committee, this annual occasion brings together up to 5,000 women of all abilities, from seasoned athletes to first-time runners, for a scenic and empowering 10-kilometer race through central Tokyo.
A Unique Urban Course Through Tokyo’s Icons
The race begins at Yoyogi Park Amphitheater Plaza and winds its way through some of Tokyo’s most iconic locations, including:
- Roads around Shibuya
- Omotesando
- Meiji Shrine
- Nishisando
- Yoyogi Park West Gate
- Race, Wellness, and Community
The flagship Women’s 10 km race anchors the day’s events. Participants are encouraged to wear vibrant running gear and enjoy the camaraderie of a supportive race atmosphere that welcomes runners of all levels.
