Sorano Hotel

A great reason to base your travels from Tachikawa

Basing your Tokyo adventures from the Tachikawa area is a great idea for a number of reasons. It's only 30 minutes from Shinjuku on the Chuo line, it's the location of the stunning Showa Kinen Park, and it's also home to the Sorano Hotel. Created with the concept of nourishing guests both physically and mentally, the venue focuses on holistic healing through food, hot springs, and fitness workshops.

One of the big drawcards here is the 60 meter-long infinity pool, which provides some beautiful views out over the surrounding area. Health-wise, there is also an indoor spa that utilizes hot spring water, a nano-mist sauna, and a gym studio that offers a variety of different classes. Try out aqua running, do morning yoga by the pool, or take one of the conditioning personal training sessions – the choice is yours.

As for the rooms, all of them face the Showa Park side of the building and provide views of the lush greenery. Large windows and balconies also feature in every room, which gives off a resort-like feel. Natural-toned, minimalist décor adds to the sense of calm and relaxation that the premises exudes.

Sorano Hotel even offers MICE facilities (Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions). The ease of access to the hotel from central Tokyo paired with the resort-like atmosphere makes this a unique choice for business meetings, team building events, and more.

Visitors with canine companions will also be happy to hear that there are dog friendly rooms available at the hotel. You can see more about those options on the website.

Getting there

Sorano Hotel is located 5 minutes on foot from Tachikawa Kita Station on the Tama Monorail, or around 8 minutes on foot from the north exit of JR Tachikawa Station.

For those who opt to drive, the hotel is around 30 minutes driving time from the Kunitachi Fuchu IC on the Chuo Expressway. On-site parking is available and is charged at a rate of ¥ 2200 per day.
