Tokyo Ramen Street is a collection of 8 different ramen restaurants situated next to each other, making it easy to get the exact kind of ramen your taste buds are set on. Soranoiro Nippon is one of the restaurants that you can find along Tokyo Ramen Street, and it conveniently has several tasty options for vegetarian and vegan diners, too.
The ordering process here is completed via a vending machine, but if you are vegan, never fear — the vegan-friendly options are labeled in English. They include a vegan tantanmen, a vegan shoyu (soy sauce) ramen, and a vegan veggie soba.
Celiacs also have options here, with a shio (salt-based) ramen that uses gluten-free brown rice noodles from Shimane Prefecture available on the menu. The staff can swap out the regular noodles for gluten-free noodles in the other types of ramen too, but depending on your personal sensitivity to gluten it would be advisable to avoid the shoyu ramen offerings because of the soy sauce based broth. For the traditional ramen fans, Soranoiro ramen offers a shoyu ramen made from chicken and pork broth, and a shio ramen made from clam broth.
Soranoiro Nippon is open from 8.30 am until 8 pm daily, but do note that the vegan menu options are only available after 10 am if you're planning to visit bright and early.
