From May 1st until June 30th, The Strings Tokyo Intercontinental is hosting a Summer Jewel Afternoon Tea with their new executive pastry chef Manabu Nagata. The afternoon tea will include a range of vibrant, jewel-colored eats including a cherry tart topped with pistachio cream, panna cotta with elderflower and orange jelly, and a red peach trifle. Along with the sweets on offer there will be several savory dishes, scones, and bottomless tea or coffee.
The event is priced at 5,500 yen per person (or 6,820 yen with champagne), and each sitting is for a 90 minute timeframe. Reservations can be made in advance via the official website here.
