The Wa No Akari x Hyakudan Kaidan exhibition started in 2015 as a way to showcase various illuminated pieces from both private individuals and organizations and includes displays from iconic cultural events including the Aomori Nebuta Matsuri and Nagasaki Lantern Festival. The exhibition takes place at Meguro's Hotel Gajoen, famous for its "Hyakudan Kaidan", or one hundred stairs, which has been designated as a Tangible Cultural Asset of Tokyo.

Getting there

The event is held at Hotel Gajoen's Hyakudan Kaidan building, located approximately three minutes on foot from Meguro Station's West Exit.

The station is accessible via the JR Yamanote Line, Tokyu Meguro Line, or on the Namboku or Mita subway lines.
