The Yushima Cat Festival started in 2015 with the aim of revitalizing this part of Tokyo and bringing some feline-themed fun to the community. A variety of businesses will be participating in the event, with cat-inspired menu offerings at cafes and restaurants, cat merchandise for sale, and appearances from the local cat mascot Sabu-chan on select dates.
In addition, Tsumakoi Shrine will also be offering limited-time cat goshuin (shrine stamps) for anyone who collects those.
A map outlining the participating businesses is below.
Getting there
The participating businesses are located a short distance from Yushima Station, which is served by the Tokyo Metro's Chiyoda Line.
